4th Annual

Dear Friends and Neighbours,

    Like so many other families, our family has been touched by cancer.  We have decided to do something about this terrible disease and it's impact on people and initiated the Pigeon Lake Pedal.  Our family has a long history of enjoying the beauty of the lake so it seemed like a natural place to welcome others to come together with a common purpose. 

The three previous Pigeon Lake Pedal's were a great success thanks to the wonderful support in our community.  We have raised over $139,000 for the Alberta Cancer Foundation in support of the Cross Cancer Institute.  The need to provide extra support for families, research and treatment remains.  Hopefully you will consider this an opportunity to do your part in the fight against cancer while also participating in a truly special event that the whole family can enjoy.

Please join our families as we pedal around Pigeon lake on Saturday, July 5, 2008 and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are facing cancer.
